Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is a hidden treasure in the northern part of the state. The lake is huge and the tourists are many. Finding a piece of beach can be difficult in the summer heat. Luckily, my mom knew of this perfect beach that doesn't get much traffic - Sanders Beach.
This beach has street parking only. Half of the beach is private for the local homeowners, but there is plenty of room for public use too.
To get there, navigate to 1111 E Lakeshore Dr, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814. Go down 14th street and the public parking is along East Lakeshore Drive right along the fence to the beach.
